I’ve made my living writing just about everything, from fiction and investigative journalism to product descriptions for barbecue grills. I was a staff writer and editor for a feisty local weekly for nearly a decade, ran communications for two different non-profits for just as long, and launched my own local news website in 2012. I was raised in the wilds of Central Massachusetts by a widowed, single mom and lived on the beaches of Rhode Island, Northern Vermont, Western Mass, Nantucket, New Jersey, and France before ending up in Charlottesville, Virginia, where I have been ever since.
